Roanheads
Village , Peterhead, Aberdeenshire
We
are well on our way to completion on this important
town centre regeneration project. The 53 unit development will be
complete by June 2008.
The homes are planned around
a homezone setting which encourages community interaction and control of vehicle
traffic. The design of the development
is also influenced by the characteristics of the Poundbury
Village
in
Dorset.
Following on Tenants
First experience at Ballater, Roanheads Village embraces the latest in
off-site construction techniques. Local contractors, Stewart Milne, have
developed an advanced timber frame system being used for the first time in
Scotland at our Peterhead site. Click

Chap Construction
started on site in mid February 2008 building 4 flats and 3 houses looking
over the Ythan estuary. The development
will be on an important gap site in the centre of Newburgh,
which will revive a part of the village which has lain derelict for some years.
It is anticipated that
the project will be completed by autumn 2008.

Main
Street, Rothienorman
Tenants First has
entered a new partnership with Scotia Homes to develop much needed
affordable housing on a brownfield site in Rothienorman. We have 14 homes
for rent pepper-potted within a wider private development in a Homezone
setting. With this arrangement we hope to achieve a fully balanced
community.
Work began on site in January
2008 and first properties should be ready for occupation by August 2008.
