New Tenancy DVD Launched
Tenants First has been involved in an exciting partnership project with six other Housing Associations to produce a tenancy DVD. It was developed to provide a more user friendly way of explaining the rights and responsibilities which are contained in the Scottish Secure Tenancy Agreement. We wanted it to be interesting and engaging as well as informative and with its innovative mix of presenter, video and animation, we think we’ve achieved that.
A copy of the DVD will be given to all new members when they sign up. It can also be viewed online on our Tenancy DVD page. If you would like to borrow a copy of the DVD, or if you would like your own copy, please contact our Aberdeen office.
Following on from this we are going to be reviewing our Tenant Handbook. We want to make sure it contains all the information that members need to enjoy their homes and it will be easier for us to do that if we have some feedback from members. We’re looking for volunteers for a focus group which will meet twice, for around two hours each time later this year, to discuss the content and format of the handbook.
