Members vote for New Rules
The proposal to adopt our new Rules was adopted at the Special General Meeting held on Tuesday 29 September 2009 with a 100% vote in favour.
Your Committee of Management believe that the new Rules will allow the Co-operative to move forward with all members able to participate in our growth and would like to thank you all for your support.
In Summary
The Co-operative now has Rules which:
- reflect current laws and the governing standards in which we now operate;
- opens participation in the Co-operative’s decision making bodies to all members wherever they live without artificial restriction; and
- enable postal voting by members.
