First research paper released by KTP Associate Widya Sujana

KTP Associate, Widya Sujana

Widya Sujana, KTP Associate, releases first research paper Widya Sujana, Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate who began working with us in June 2009, has published her first report entitled “A Review of Obstacles to the Delivery of Affordable Zero Carbon Homes in Scotland”. Widya presented the paper to the International Sociological Association (ISA) conference at the University of Glasgow as part of the initial phase of the partnership.

Year 1 of the project is aimed at researching our design and building techniques and appraising the best practices, products and systems available today. The report looks at 3 Case Study Tenants First projects and also examines the delivery of Zero Carbon Housing in Quebec and Ontario, Canada.

The Conference had significant profile, with the Scottish Government's Minister for Housing and Communities Alex Neil MSP speaking, along with senior academics from the UK and many other nations. Widya will be feeding back on the event at the next Local Management Team meeting of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership.
