Planning
Permission for Learning House
We
are pleased to be able to tell you that Aberdeenshire Council have given
us planning permission to open a Learning House in our new Caledonia Court
development in Fraserburgh, High Street.
The
Learning House will provide opportunities for local people to develop and
improve their IT skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We are sure this will prove a great asset to the community and will
keep you up to date with how it is progressing.

Community
Grants update
Each
of our six TMB’s (Tenant Management Board) was allocated a budget of £1000
to use to help community groups within their local communities.
A
wide range of community groups and activities have been funded—including
the Banchory family hogmanay ceilidh which was given
£250 towards their costs by Deeside TMB.
Deeside TMB also gave funds to the local pensioners club for a day
trip, to Aboyne Terrace Residents Association who required a hot water
geyser and to Kaimhill Football club, towards buying kits and equipment.
Sheddocksley
TMB
supported their local girls brigade groups by giving £200 towards a new
trophy, craft materials and music books.
Ugievale TMB gave £200 towards the North East Scotland Credit
Union and £560 towards Hillpark Community Flat’s running costs.
St Machar TMB gave £250 towards sports equipment for their local
boys brigade. Loop systems to
help those who are hard of hearing were also funded for Bressay Brae and
Park Street sheltered complexes (both in Aberdeen).
If
you have any further ideas for community groups we could assist, please
contact us.
