Q - If I have a problem with my neighbour how should I approach the situation?

A - We would recommend that you contact your neighbour in person and calmly explain why you think there is a problem. If you fear your neighbour or you feel your neighbour is ignoring your concerns you can contact a housing officer in writing explaining the situation. A housing officer will then visit you and then your neighbour. the complaint will be confidential i.e. we will not tell your neighbour who is making the complaint.

Q - What should I do if I wish to move house?

A - You can apply to us for a transfer. We will send you a transfer form. We will then assess the form for your housing need and awarded points. The number of housing need points determines your position on the transfer list. It can take over a year for you to be transferred to alternative accommodation.
