SMART

This is a financial inclusion project providing financial health checks, financial education and money advice to tenants and members of the project partners. It aims to help tenants take control of their financial affairs, reducing the stress and anxiety caused by debt. Our partners in this project are Grampian Housing Association and Castlehill Housing Association.

ASSIST

This project provides tailored housing support to tenants and members of the project partners to help them sustain their tenancies and avoid homelessness. Activities include advice, advocacy and support so that tenants can access needed services for various issues including mental health, substance use, support to build or re-establish relationships, support to manager their homes and budget effectively. Our partners in this project are Grampian Housing Association.

Learn2Earn

This project aims to increase the employability of tenants and members of Registered Social Landlords in the Grampian area. This includes supported home learning, confidence building, skills development and signposting to training or employment. The project is delivered in Aberdeenshire through Fraserburgh and Peterhead Learning Houses. In Aberdeen City it operates on an outreach basis.

Ethnic Minorities Housing Project

This project aims to tackle the disadvantages faced by people from minority ethnic communities by increasing their understanding of their housing options and how to access these, and ensuring the needs of minority ethnic communities are met in the strategic housing plans of social housing providers. We are in the process of developing a public art project in our new development in the Roanheads area of Peterhead. We aim to create high quality art works with as many people from the local community as possible participating in the project. We are currently preparing an application for funding for the project.
