Bressay Brae Residents Association
Bressay Brae Sheltered Housing complex, Sheddocksley, Aberdeen is one of Tenants First largest sheltered housing complexes with 95 properties spread over both sides of the Lang Stracht. Bressay Brae has had an active social committee organising events for its members for many years.
In April 2007 they applied to Tenants First to become a Registered Tenant Organisation. Becoming registered has ensured the group is recognised and consulted with by Tenants First and the other relevant bodies.
The committee organise regular weekly coffee mornings and Bingo afternoons, they also organise music nights, bus trips and events to celebrate Christmas and New Year. The committee is striving to ensure all their members are aware of forthcoming activities and try to encourage as many members as possible to attend events despite the wide geographical area.
