Community Development Team

The role of the Community Development Team is to encourage tenant members to become involved in the management and decision making of the co-operative and to develop and support projects which will strengthen and improve the co-operative and the communities where it operates.  

Services provided by the team include:  

bulletProviding support to Tenant Management Boards
bulletDeveloping a range of ways that tenant members can be involved in the running of the co-operative at a number of levels
bulletSupporting Residents Associations
bulletSupporting Tenant Volunteers
bulletMaintaining the Co-operative’s Tenant Panel
bulletProducing the Co-operative’s newsletters
bulletDeveloping projects which support tenant members and their communities
bulletObtaining funding for Co-operative and community projects

The team consists of a Community Development Manager, a Community Development Officer and a New Initiatives Officer.  These posts are all part time and are all based in our Aberdeen office.
