Setup of the Co-operative
Part of Tenants Firsts vision is to provide, manage and maintain top quality affordable housing to our members. The Co-operative is fully mutual and therefore totally controlled by our members under the direction of the elected Committee of Management and the Sub Committees. The service delivery is the responsibility of the Co-operative staff.
These services are delivered via operational teams each with their own areas of responsibilities and each overseen by the relevant Sub Committee.
How we work
In addition to the Committee of Management which makes the strategic decisions for the Co-operative there are five Sub Committees which examine in more detail the day to day operations. Members of the Co-operative who are not members of the Committee of Management may participate in these Sub Committees.
Staffing
Co-operative staff manage the day to day work of the Co-operative organised under the following principal operational areas from offices in Aberdeen and Peterhead.
