Arbroath Extract Fan Contract 2006/7
The
above contract involved the installation of 50 Low Voltage Fans in the
bathrooms of our properties in Arbroath.
Xpelair
LV 100T low voltage extract fan was chosen for because of their reputation
efficiency and safety. The fans were ceiling mounted to limit internal
disruption and the flue/roof vent was fitted externally to reduce the
access required to each property.
The
works were tendered to contractors in the Arbroath area and a local
contractor, Neil Payton Ltd was awarded the contract at £8500 plus VAT.
The
contract commenced on the 12th March 2007 and was effectively
completed over a four week period. There was no overspend and the contract
final account was as the agreed tender price.
A
satisfaction survey was carried out following at the end of the works. The
results are detailed below. Overall our members were happy with the
outcome, although some were unhappy with the Contractor who tended to
carry out some of the external works without informing the members.
